EPSON Projector USB-COM Driver is a utility that creates a virtual COM (serial) port for compatible Epson projectors connected via USB. It lets Windows recognize the projector as a serial device so control and automation software can communicate with it just as they would over an RS‑232 connection—without needing a physical serial cable. This enables remote control and monitoring tasks such as power on/off, input switching, and status queries from AV control systems and projector management tools. After installation, connecting the projector by USB will add a new COM port in Device Manager; point your control application to that port to send commands and receive responses. Note: this is not a video/display driver—it’s intended solely for projector control and diagnostics.
EPSON Projector USB-COM Driver is developed by SEIKO EPSON Corporation. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2. The names of program executable files are EMPNWMan.exe, EMP_VDT.exe, E_DUPA20.EXE and E_GUPA20.EXE.
